Augusta Information

Augusta is located in the south-west Coast of Australia is a reletively undiscovered town. It is one of those places you can just relax and stay without the big tourist crowds of the other places nearby.

There are lots of activities and fun things to do that will leave memories in your mind for decades to come. How rare is it to walk a beach and your footprints are the first ones ever?. Well in Augusta this can be a reality with memories to cherrish

The town was established in 1830 and Today only has a population of aproximately only 1100 people who reside here.

The Mild mediteranian climate makes Augusta an all year round escape destination to be at. Whether you enjoy the wilderness of the Leeuwin National Park eco experience or just the pristiness of the beach lifestyle you are at the right place.

When your beedy little eyes peer out toward the ocean it is interesting to think that you are looking straight towards Antartica.

The Cape Leeuwin lighthouse is a must see stop on your journey. Once upon a time this was actually home to the lighthouse keeper who's job it was to keep boats from washing up ashore.

Don't forget the Blackwood River. Augusta is not just all about the beach lifestyle. Every year the River Featival is held in March which showcases the diversity and attraction of the Blackwood River

Also check out the aquamarine entertainment. There are Southern Right, Humpback and the famously endangered Blue Whales to see between May to December while they migrate.

Have some fun in the sun. Go Kitesurfing, windsurfing, fishing, surfing, snorkelling, boating or just lazing on the beach lapping up the sun.
