Lake Grace Information
So you want to leave the big city lights behind and head out to your own adventure in a small little town. Well at Lake Grace you have come to the right place to relax.
This is a typical country town where everyone is friendly and will stop to say hello to you. There are no rednecks here, just your typical farmers who like a dog waging his tail are ecstatic that someone from the big smoke has actually come to visit and chat.
If you like farming and nature landscaped and seeing wildlife for real outside a caged zoo you will be amazed and dazzled with Lake Graces beauty. There are wild Kangaroos, emus, eagles, birds and many more species happily living out here.
Although Lake Grace is mainly a farming community growing grain, wheat, oats, barley and lupins there are lots of pretty wildflowers in the region.
It's the perfect place to escape to with your loved one to be romantic. Grab your picnic basket and head on down.
In town you will find only a community of about 600 living here. Everyone you meet will fascinate you with his story why he wouldn't live anywhere else and that it's the place to be.
The Historical Mural in the gardens of the medical centre features women who were in some way pioneers of the district from European settlement to the present. A very interesting place to visit.
Also don't miss the famous Lake Grace lookout which is just 12kms west of the town centre. Here you will see how at 50 kms long and 7kms wide Lake Grace will fascinate you. The Apex park nearby is the best place to have a rest and picnic.
One of the best attractions to Lake Grace is Gold Prospecting. Not too far from Lake Grace is Giffin which is a renound hotspot for finding gold.
