Pemberton Information
Pemberton was originally occupied by the Bibbulmun Aboriginal Australian tribe before the white settlement in 1880’s.
The town was originally founded by Pemberton Walcott. Although a small population of only 1000 people residing in town, Pemberton is actually a great tourist destination.
Pemberton in home of the Karri Forest and is a must see destination for all nature lovers. Enjoy the tree top walk and take photos of the picturesque wildflowers.
Apart from hiking there are heaps of activities. Try the local river cruises, go 4wd touring, visit the wineries, go horse riding, canoeing, fishing, camping, golfing, swimming, mountain bike riding and much more.

There are also heaps of wineries located around Pemberton which make the perfect place for lunch and wine tasting.
If you are into fishing, Pemberton also has great freshwater fishing in the Warren and Donnelly River, so grab your fishing rod and tackle and come on down.
Another great activity in the area starts at the Pemberton Railway station. Go tram riding over the river and through the forest for the perfect eco adventure.
