Gosford is a large city of New South Wales with a population of about 160,000. Before European settlement the Guringai and Darkinjung Aboriginal people occupied Gosford.

Wildflowers at Popran National Park and the Romantic Gosford Edogawa Commemorative Gardens are well worth a visit too. Be enthralled with the wonderful scenery in a Japanese styled gardens.
Art enthusiasts will enjoy the Gosford Regional Art Gallery, located on the shores of Caroline Bay in East Gosford. The gallery always has different exhibitions happening from time to time and the gallery shop is popular for jewellery and locally made gifts.
