Sydney is the largest city in Australia with about 4.5 million people and is the capital of New South Wales. Famous icons like the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are known all over the world.

For entertainment and performances Sydney ranks number one in all of Australia. There are regular events at the Opera House, the Sydney Town Hall, Recital Hall, State Theatre, Wharf Theatre and the Theatre Royal. Internationally Sydney is the top spot for overseas entertainers to perform at.
Nightlife in Sydney is spectacular. The best places are at Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Circular Quay, Kings Cross and Oxford Street. All offer heaps of traditional pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy your night out. For the live music hubs they are located in Annandale and Newtown.
The Australian Museum and Powerhouse museum are extremely popular along with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Australian Maritime Museum and the Art gallery of New South Wales.
The perfect picnicking place is the Royal Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a pleasant relaxing atmosphere amongst wonderful green gardens with the blended background of the Sydney skyline.
For action visit the famous Luna Park. This theme park is located just underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and is easily found. It’s hard to fathom that you are in the middle of Sydney while at the theme park.
Sunshine and fun at Bondi Beach is an experience not to miss while in Sydney. The beach is very popular and the Ocean baths too.
