For those keen to further experience Rockhampton’s nature, the Cliff Kershaw Gardens cannot be missed. See the waterfall, which is illuminated at night and is surrounded by native flora.
A trek to Mount Archer Lookout will offer a more challenging nature hunt, with bush walking tracks of up to 100km over the city. After a trek, relax with a picnic or barbeque.
