Southport in Queensland is a big community of about 25,500 people and is named Southport because it was the southernmost port of the colony in Queensland.
Southport was once just the sight of Timber Mills but today it is the sight of some great tourist attractions and things to do. In the area are 18 massive high rise buildings to displaying the growth since the humble beginnings of the timber days.
